What we do at Ruby’s
We are a socially and environmentally conscious organic coffee company, with a mission to build a thriving and interconnected community of coffee growers, baristas and coffee drinkers. On one side, we work directly with the small coffee growers of India and bring their amazing and unique coffee to market. We ensure our growers get amazing rates, and we work with them to improve the quality and quantity of their crop. At the other end, we work with extremely passionate baristas, train them extensively on both the technical and theatrical aspects of coffee. And elevate them to make the best possible cup of coffee, and educate the customer. And finally we specialize in brewing coffee and running bespoke coffee programs, with customized beans, menus and drinks for businesses, and the most epic of cup of coffee for our coffee drinkers!

You will be
Running operations. This means developing systems, documenting them, and making sure they work. You will be the creator, and the enforcer! This is a hands-on role, remember we are a start-up, no place for managers.
You will be the main point of contact for the accounts team, ensuring Ruby’s accounting hygiene is healthy ; be in-charge of company secretarial work, and HR, to make sure Ruby’s is working as per the law of the land; and working with banks, well we all have to, don’t we ?
Researching systems and topics that make Ruby’s better, and more efficient. One day you maybe analyzing POS systems that manage inventory to boot, the next day balancing cash payments, the next day analyzing and creating management reports to show how profitable we are, and to keep it interesting you maybe called in to buy old furniture and work with carpenters to furnish our next joint Creating collateral to show to potential clients, and investors, such as presentations.
And if you have marketing chops. This means an eye for a good photo. The smell of a good story. And love sharing it on insta. Developed websites in the past, and can create some cool graphics using tools like Canva, well, you are THAT much closer to being a part of Ruby’s. As a hungry start-up we are always on the hunt for extreme multi-talented folks!

Must haves A burning passion for organizing things. Developing systems and checks and balances to make sure everything runs smoothly, efficiently and in a manner that can be scaled!
3+ years of work experience in operations, project management, or secretarial roles Amazing internet, Google suite, and or Microsoft suite skills
Completely fluent in English, spoken and written
Getting things done comes naturally – we don’t sit back and wait, we DO. This includes extracting work from busy baristas, and bossy partners
Social and environmental causes interest, even excite you !
Would be cool if you also had
A passion for coffee!
Marketing chops, and skills in graphic tools like Canva, and website development skills
